Tentatively back

I graduate from university in one week's time, and obviously that's incredibly significant from a "life perspective", and I'm not going to pretend it doesn't feel incredibly significant too (even if it doesn't feel particularly much else), but all I can really bring myself to focus on is how much free time I will have from now on. Noting, I admit, ( Read more... )

I got a 2:2 in Philosophy. While that is not necessarily what I would have been happy with had you asked me at the beginning of my degree, and while all my friends on the same course achieved better, there is nothing I would do with a 2:1 that I cannot do with a 2:2, so I am fairly content. How are you doing anyway? How is graduate life treating you and all that? Obviously I would know, but I've been away from LJ for some time. You live in London now, I gather. Whereabouts, and how do you like it? Set me some prose.

I don't know what 2:2 is but it sounds nice and symmetrical so well done

Congratulations on graduating! Which uni did you go to? Not that it's particularly important now but I'm just curious. The idea of so much free time honestly overwhelms me quite a bit. For this reason, I am actually petrified of graduating in two years' time. Have you got any plans for your freedom?

i went to nottingham. it was pretty ace, but im glad to be out of it, though as you say the free time awarded to you on graduation is pretty fucking daunting. (just about to write a full review of uni, as far as something like that is possible)
