-I have decided to ask my parents for a ticket to Bonnaroo as a graduation present, as I can't think of anything else since I'm trying to be self-sufficent.

I KNOW. The lineup is ridiculous. I'm headed to the library soon to pick up some cds, because I hate going to concerts and not being able to sing along to 100% of the songs. If I get to go, it would be amazing.

I graduate on May 23rd, though my last day of school is the 19th.

godamnit! what the fuck is it with bonnaroo. last year, i think i knew of like 4 people who even knew what the fuck bonnaroo was, and maybe 2 who were actually going. and this year, fucking EVERYBODY wants to go (including me, who can't.) but for chrissakes, it's on a FARM. i don't know how they're going to fit 34 gazillion people, and all their brothers, and their dogs, and their coolers, and their pot, on this fucking farm. soon bonnaroo will be its own country, and they will have illegal mexicans jumping over the...sound speakers, to seek a better life amongst the overpriced organic food stands. that, and everybody's going to be HIGH AS FUCK. trey anastasio will be some kind of drug lord, and he won't even know it, because he'll be SO FUCKING HIGH. so FINE. go to your utopia of music and drugs and sex. go have yourself the best fucking time of your life, hippieface.

...what i meant by this is, GO TO BONNAROO IT WILL KICK SO MUCH ASS AHH.
and i think is is nifty: bonnaroo = creole slang word for "a really good time."

Hahah, I won't front; I hadn't heard of it until sometime last year, I think. But my friend Emily was just like "hey...do you wanna go with me?" and I'm like "...you...you'd seriously drive? To Manchester, TN?" and she's like "Hell yeah, I would!" and thus the idea was born.

Actually getting our shit together and making it down there would be some kind of fantastic Senior-trip-miracle, one that I hope I get.
I'm going to bring a tent and a camera and lots of really silly, slutty clothes.

BTW, it's a 700+ acre farm, and this is it's 5th year, so I guess they must be doin somethin right. Thank you for the encouragement!! If you have the money for a ticket, you're more than welcome to come along, for real.
