What a brilliant ritual we managed in the end!
So getting on for the last hour or so of prep, I thought there was no way I was going to have everything done in time. But as people started to arrive, they were helpful and my soup, loaf and shortbread came out nicely, all the shopping had been done by my marvellous minions and by some sheer fluke, I'd managed to order up enough copies of the ritual to go round!
We stayed out talking afterwards. I now have a plan for the stall and a damn foolish idea for Halldor's birthday. It's going to take some planning and energy to pull off but will totally be worth it.
But first, I have my back up against the double-deadline wall, three days of restaurant work ahead of me, meetings with dissertation supervisor, Psyche's Garden and TS guy to organize and attend. And I have to somehow get a flock of pagans to Crail and back at dark o' clock.
Oh, and get some time off to work on my dissertation research over Reading Week.
The weather sure is lovely today, sea mist with slanting sunshine and still so mild!
