Is done, and, if you want to see it, it's online here (if you want to vote for me, that would be cool too, but you don't have to... there are some very good entries): http://screenlabschallenge2008.blogspot.com/Read more... )
Congratulations! That's an excellent story. I appreciated the squirrel line although there weren't nearly enough squirrels in the park. I suppose they were holding out for union wages.
I think all the squirrels who normally go to that park (Windom in NE Mpls ... we didn't use Prospect Park because it was too crowded) spend all of their time on my balcony eating my flowers.
I'd have to give credit to the actor for the squirrel line... he improv'd it in rehearsal (when there were more squirrels around), and we decided to keep it.
Hey, I finally watched this tonight! Really cute and funny! I recognized your apartment (redecorated in guy-decor and action figures, of course)! How did you do the "beam", and how did you decide exactly how it was going to communicate? That was so cute. I kind of wanted the guy to actually "fall in love with" the beam, since she was clearly grooming him to be in a relationship...why not with her, I figured? Anyway, congrats! :D
