Ok, I have a slight dilemma (don't we all. lol.). I like someone who I've liked for 3 years or so and they have liked me since then too. We have told each other this about a month ago, but we have pretty much just been friends since then and we haven't really made any advances, which I'm totally fine with. I think the reason she is telling you all about the other guy is because she wants that same attention from you. I would say, be straight forward with her- tell her how much you want her to be happy and then ask her if that has you in it. Be real sweet about it, don't sound jealous. If you aren't comfortable enough to talk about it with her, start doing subtle cute romantic things like he does. But beware, dont get your hopes up. Even though she wants attention from you, that doesnt mean she likes you more than him.

Hey Shannon! How's life going? Anyway, thanks for the advice. However, I don't really think she is doing it to get the same attention from me, she is just headstrung over him, and I can't even begin to compete anymore. I don't even know if I should try anymore; they seem to be getting along just great (according to her livejournal entries. lol.). So yea, that's about where I am now. It was nice hearing from you.
