A friend of mines wants me to do my demo in her mans studio when i go back to atl. I've been trying to call you. Keep ya head up cause u don't know it but we livin in prison/ a place where we can't move above and beyond what we are given/ without being watched and given/ stock to live in/ instead of the semi freedom that we enjoy and are use to/ so to keep me in order they'll use you/ and to be where you are u'll do what u have too/ and in the end we're both through/ crabs in a bucket they sit back watch and love it/ look at how that nigga won't let another get above it/
Prison ain't the word, what we're livin is hell i live to excel, but well, people get kicks when i fail when shit gets derailed, they get some kinda sick satisfaction like my lack of good luck becomes a joke and they're laughin the fact is, i don't find the humor in it all sabotaged from the start it's like they're doomin me to fall i'd call in a favor but my minutes are used up when the weight falls upon me i buckle, it's too much it's too tough, my struggle seems to be likened to sisyphus life's a tough class to pass, i wish they'd hand out a syllabus

sorry i've been real real shady for a long time...i've been out of my mind about a lot of shit and i've been losing contact with a lot people, not just you.
I relate. But let me also say you didn't mention what being able to think in abstracts does for you. That you didn't mention the mind buzz, the chemical rush. The thing is, you are prolly a junkie for stimulation of that region of the brain, and predisposed not only to using it (and like using it) but also to consider that capacity sacrosanct to a degree. you have made your intellectualism a type of religion.
you have made the fact that you can do that a part of the fact that you are other. it is. but you have created a reality permeated with that difference. there you have it,
and yet: you did not mention why abstracts even matter, or that they feel really good. being great, or notches above mediocraty...
hint: only through comparisson does the top line stand out.
and only through abstraction is the capacity of comparisson given flesh.
in other words: the justification and meaning of the top level is created by the abilities and dreams and knowledge of the top level (not always, and not completely mind you).
but you have decided to live in a world in which your capacity for difference is the very thing which allows you to define the thing which you feel is most important. you are almost caught, in those terms, in a tautology of your own mind.
because of the abstractions. and you didn't even mention how fookin good they feel :)
