I agree that interrogativive demontratives begin with sko- in both AV and HV
We know that Sko is used in Astapori Valyrian to introduce subordinate clauses:
Odaban sko ydras drejikydho "I think that he is telling the truth " Pindas sko ji yn tebila, va me rudhy. "(She) asks that you give me to her, as a present" Sa va zer sko enkat jiva derve. "(It) is to her that you owe your freedom "
Apparently, sko is valid for both genders in AV. It is obviously related to the forms esko (when) and skoverdi (how many):
Kuny iles ji broji meles esko mazedhas derari va buzdar "That was the name he had when he was taken as a slave" Pindas skoverdi Dovoghedhi lis lerraski " She asks how many Unsullied are for sale"
There is no example of sko used as a interrogative im AV, but in HV we have its cognate skoros
First of all, may I ask who this is? LiveJournal, unfortunately, doesn't give anonymous users the option of including a name in the header, so you have to either sign in via a service it recognizes, or explicitly mention your name in the post.
Second, you are, of course, totally right, and I've brought this up a lot here. On Monday night I was lucky enough to get another IRC chat with David J. Peterson, and he mentioned that HV question words "all derive from either skor- or spar-" Now, spar-... that's a new one by me! We'll have to go over our previous evidence and see if we can find anything from that root.

Nor could I find any example of a spar- interrogative.
