you're NOT the only one,...i don't think we would be human if we didn't need comfort, even the happiest person in the world needs it.
Don't ever apologize for writting down your thoughts in your blog ,it's your blog you can write and share anything you feel comfortable with, you're not depressing me instead you making me feel like I'm not the only one who had the same thoughts and there is someone else out there who is feeling or felt the same.

Well i'm not an expert but personally i think when we do things that are NOT harmful to ourselves or others that brings us comfort is a good thing, i use my art for comfort and i suppose your counsellor would describe that as escapism too but i don't think of it as a negative thing, i think sometimes we need that in our lives,we can get used to a daily rouine very easily and get bored and start feeling depressed and so on,,...having things in our lives either needlwork, cros sstitching, painting, even sleeping/dreaming is good for us :)

*hugs*

You are so wise Kat.
And you are right of course - watching movies is hardly the crime of the century (and neither is getting a good sleep).

And of course I can write what I want in my Blog - I always worry about other people's feelings too much.
