I heard something on XM29 this morning about Ashcroft & Coldplay performing. I was like huh because this immediately came to mind and I thought it would be a VERY odd pairing. Though it was Richard not John they were referring to, so this makes a bit more sense.

Yeah Richard Ashcroft.. I think they did a version of Bittersweet Symphony for some really big music event.
