Remember one of my last posts about selling the church? Well, we had a meeting last night. It's worse. According to the Synod lawyer we have no choice but to sell to the 2nd offer, which is not the Thai congregation. We'd pretty much been told that we had no choice. yes. Not every week, but I have been known to go. Frequency, etc has gone up and down over the years, more down than up right now. Some of that is a function of what's going on in the congregation.. We'lll see what happens. St. Paul's until recently was very active in the 'doing good' part of what community churches do. We're a backup church for PADS (homeless center), we cook meals for PADS on the 4th Friday of the month, and support the kids in the neighborhood. We've donated things like bookbags (with goodies in them) to the grade school next door. Right now......
