Certain People should have told me that the zoo had a whole new road now. As in old entrance totally blocked off and road past it now a no outlet road.  I went right past where I should have turned, going "that looks new" and then seeing that the old entrance totally blocked off. Oh yea, and Wyanndotte Lake dismantled.  I had to find a place to

Oops. I guess I should've mentioned that. Um, Jaleh? Powell Road (Rt. 750) was moved. It goes between the zoo and the golf course now, instead of where it was, just past the old zoo entrance. And you have to turn there to get to the zoo now. (Better late than never, right?) ^_^;

I'm glad you guys had fun. The zoo will be kind of crazy for a while, what with the construction, but still worth it, I think.

Hehe! I just hope they reconstruct the entrance gates too. They are so far from the parking lot now. It's a hike just to get in, and that's even when you manage to park close. I'm sure they will end up doing something, just kinda crazy right now. So is Wyandotte Lake totally gone, or are they just redoing it? It was strange seeing it dismantled.

They will change the gates, but it'll still be a hike. That's why they have the shuttle now.

Wyandotte Lake will reopen next summer with a new name and a zoo theme (the zoo bought it) and it'll share a parking lot and entrance gate with the zoo. It should be kind of cool. ^_^
