As you may or may not know, St. John's id due between 50 and 75 cm of snow and 120kph winds overnight tonight and tomorrow, followed by Freezing rain and rain. (Oh, may I say YUCK!!!!!) And our hatches needed it! :D We got wind gusts in excess of 115 kph! Lost our power as you might expect, but we have a propane fireplace and a couple of small canned heat stoves so we had the means for a cuppa, boiled some eggs and so on.

It was short, not so sweet, and to the point. 54cm of snow when they were forecasting up to 75cm. Then it turned to sleet and then rain.
We got back our power around 4:30pm Friday. Some people didn't get it back until...um..Sunday morning?
