"He's late," Kikuoka muttered, shaking his cane towards the train station. He squawked when the wind blew again. "Cold..."
"You do realize that Master Roshi has a long sleeve version too right?" Muro snickered. "You could have done that instead of the beach version. You're the one who decided you wanted to use clothes you already owned."
In retaliation, Kikuoka whacked Muro in the shin with the cane before straightening out the collar of his aloha shirt. "I had to get the cane, turtle shell, and bald cap! And it's not my fault the temperature decided to DROP ten degrees this week."

"Ok," Hamanaka says, appearing at Ito's side at the end of practice. "I'm ready to go."
"Huh?" Ito stares at Hamanaka, trying to remember if they'ed made any plans for today. "Wh--"
"That all you can eat yakiniku place sounds good."
And with that, Ito realizes what's going on... what Hamanaka's too shy to actually say. Ito wonders how long it's been since the two of them last hung out together and mentally scolds himself for not noticing.
He smiles. "It does sound good, doesn't it? We can go as soon as I finish packing my stuff."

"Does it not bother you that your boyfriend is always all over me?" Shige wonders out loud one day after practice. They've walked far enough down the train platform that there's no one to overhear their conversation.
Kamiyama gives him an amused look. "Is he?"
"Well... YES!" Shige doesn't understand Kamiyama and Takemoto's relationship very well. They used to be so obvious about liking each other, but now that they're actually a couple, Takemoto's attention seems to have shifted to Shige. It makes no sense ( ... )
