Title: War
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takizawa, KAT-TUN, Fujiagaya, Kitayama, Hashimoto (+everyone else, if you think about it...)
Author's Notes: My epicfailure of an attempt to write a pirate universe where I went crazy and didn't even get to the parts where everyone could get drunk and sing bawdy ballads with tankards. *fails*
They sized each other up, Takizawa standing proud, his motley crew ranged out behind him. Hiromitsu and Taisuke, his right and left hand, standing just behind him. He could see Hasshi shift nervously out of the corner of his eye, but focused back on the enemy.
Six pirate lords. Six pirate armies.
While outnumbered, Takizawa still held onto a glimmer of hope. His men were tough, cautious, and well trained, whereas they were facing lazy drunkards and sluggard bullies. It wasn't much of a chance, but it was all he had.
“NOW!” He roared, raising his sword in defiance.
Title: Betrayal
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Kitayama, Hashimoto, Fujigaya, Takizawa
Author's Notes: Lalala, the ideas surrounding this aren't even that original. (Hello, Queen of Pirates meets Takizawa Kakumei.)
“HASSHI!” Hiromitsu screamed as the younger boy fell, blood pouring from his wounds. Their leader stood over his body, slashing and hacking in a frenzied rage, trying to protect the baby of their family.
There was a flash of steel and his body reacted instantly, whirling to block the enemy's sword. Only he felt his heart stop beating as he realized who his enemy was.
Eyes glinting, lips curved in a familiar smirk, Taisuke drove Hiromitsu's sword upwards, ramming the knife he held in his other hand into the smaller male's gut.
“Taisuke...” Hiro crumpled. “You wouldn't....”
Title: Piper
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takaki, Hashimoto
Author's Notes: And now we throw in a bit of LOTR...
The ravaged battlefield lay in eerie silence, devoid of movement. Bodies littered the ground, bodies of enemies, bodies of friends, bodies of people.
A song was heard, a high and bright, not belonging in such a grisly scene.
The piper appeared, dancing gracefully amongst the bodies, his elfin senses straining to find what he was looking for as he danced around the dead, eyes sparkling in the moonlight.
Suddenly he paused, stooping over one body, not much different from the rest, except for how young he was.
Yuya tilted his head. “Found you.” He murmured, gently touching Hasshi's forehead.
Title: Gap
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Totsuka, Senga, Kitayama
Author's Notes: I really owe you cookies by now, oh great one who edits my mistakes.
Tottsu rubbed his eyes as he accepted Senga's offer of tea. “Thanks...” He didn't take his eyes off the map before him. Both sides had retreated to lick their wounds and recover. The damage was devastating and morale was low.
Damn you, Fujigaya.
Here he was, trying to fill the gap left by Hiromitsu and Taisuke, trying to keep everyone alive, their leader on his feet. Trying not to think about the bodies they'd been forced to leave behind.
There was a stumping noise. Looking up, he found Hiro in the doorway, hunched over but eyes filled with determination.
Title: Gorgeous
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takaki, Hashimoto
Author's Notes: I wasn't sure what I was doing with this...
When Hasshi woke, his head was pounding like nothing else. He struggled, trying to sit up when a cool hand rested on his chest, pushing him back down. “Lie still.” A voice spoke and automatically he obeyed, taking in his surroundings. He was on a cot, in his breeches. He wore no shirt, but most of his torso appeared to be covered in bandages.
His gaze moved to the speaker and he gaped. If he hadn't seen the ears, he would have thought he was a human boy. Only to Hasshi, he was far too gorgeous to be human.
Title: Strike
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takizawa, Totsuka, Kitayama, Tsukada's buns of steel...
Author's Notes: My attempt at humor. ._.
“We have to strike now.” Hiro insisted before tracing a line over the map. “If we move now, we have the advantage, especially if we can force them here.”
Tottsu and Takizawa leaned over, considering this. “I just don't think we're ready.” Tottsu sighed.
“But if we don't strike now, we lose advantage.” Takizawa mused. “And we can't really afford to be caught with our pants down.” He paused before adding. “Well, maybe if it was Tsukada, we'd get somewhere with that.”
“Don't encourage him.” Tottsu grumbled, making a mental to do list.
Title: Darkness
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: KAT-TUN, Fujigaya, Yokoo
Author's Notes:
“You did well, Fujigaya, stop sulking.” Kamenashi looked up the game of chess.
Koki barked a laugh, clapping the slender male on the back. “We always knew we could count on you. Knew you wouldn't forget us.”
Taisuke winced as Koki jarred his injured arm. (He hadn't escaped the skirmish unscathed.) Just nodding at them, he excused himself, slipping away to the darkness.
Yokoo wrapped his arms around him from behind, chin resting on his shoulder. “Cheer up, Taipi~”
“I killed him.” Taisuke replied flatly.
A pause.
“I know.” Yokoo murmured. “And I'm sorry.”
Title: Glow
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Hashimoto, Takaki
Author's Notes: I give up on naming these in any sense.
“Yuya.”
They were stretched out on the roof, the smaller male tucked up against his uninjured side as they admired the setting sun.
The elf opened his eyes and Hasshi repressed a shiver. Yuya was warm and kind but those eyes and the way they glowed always reminded him that he was involved with someone not so human. But he was smiling, so Hasshi couldn't help but smile back.
“You miss them.”
Hasshi was used to Yuya knowing before he actually spoke. He nodded slowly, biting his lip. “I need to be with them, they're my family.”
Title: Unfazed
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Totsuka, Kitayama
Author's Notes: Because Hiro + Sword = Awesomeness.
“You're not going on the battlefield.” Tottsu snapped at Hiromitsu. “You're not even fully healed, what good do you think you can do?”
“I'm going.” Hiro appeared unfazed as he inspected his sword and various knives.
“....” Tottsu stared at him for several long moments, disbelieving. “I can't believe you're going just for him.” He said in disgust. “You'll walk right back to your death tomorrow, just because of him. You don't even know if he'll be there.”
Hiro looked up at him, unmoved. “I know Taisuke will be there. And I'm going.”
Title: Family
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takizawa
Author's Notes: This is where someone was nice enough to tell me to stop writing drabbles and put the rest in an actual fic. X_X I am not crazy, I swear.
Takizawa stood among his men, looking around at each individual. He knew their names, knew who they were, knew they wanted to live as much as he did. They were a ragged bunch, but fiercely devoted. He'd found them all, brought them under his wing, and they'd been loyal to him.
The betrayal of someone he'd come to love as a son left invisible scars, but...he still trusted his men.
Maybe they'd all die today, maybe they'd live to fight another day.
It was a miserable existence, but in truth, he was content.
He was happy with his crew....his family.
