Title: Giver of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Chinen, Ryutarou
Author's Notes: I have a thing for works by Orson Scott Card, so he inspired this for me? Magic Street and stuff. It's a weird verse, but I dunno.
Sometimes Chinen felt his job was far too painfully destructive to bear.
Giving people dreams had sounded glamorous, but not after you'd done it a few times. You soon learned that it was filled with sadness more then anything.
The first thing anyone had told him was 'You're not really giving people dreams...you're just showing them the truth of their own minds.'
The day he made Morimoto Ryutarou wake up screaming and in tears had been the end of his liking his new life in any way. But what could he do about it now?
Eternity was a long time.
Title: Keeper of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Chinen
Author's Notes: Emo!Chinen?
He was more then just a giver of dreams, he was a keeper of dreams. He watched over the dreams people held. The brightest, the most precious, the ones that came from their hearts.
Sometimes people left them behind. He'd find them, left on a street corner, outside a bar, in the warm depression left on a bed by someone the night before.
Every time, he'd scoop them up, holding them close, feeling them pulse against his fingers.
“I'm sorry...” He whispered, wiping away tears. “I'm sorry I didn't give you to someone who would make you real.”
Title: Dreamer of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Chinen
Author's Notes: Still in the same verse, just on the human side...I like making things happen to Takaki. >>;;
Yuya had always been the odd one.
So far as anyone could remember, he'd practically been born in the orphanage, no one could recall how he'd actually ended up there. His existence was a mystery, which no one would have minded except he was so....odd.
Yuya himself knew he was a strange child, though he'd no idea why.
Every night, the dreams that came to him weren't his. They were the dreams of others.
People he knew, people he didn't know. It was exhilarating and frightening. Terrible.
What was worse was when he realized he could make them come true.
Title: Maker of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takaki, Goseki, YamaRyo
Author's Notes: Goseki is evil, YamaRyo is a victim, Takaki feels bad.
Yuya didn't know what to do with this thing, this...making dreams come true thing. He remembered all the other children in the orphanage whispering about how they wished a genie would appear, to grant them three wishes.
Yuya didn't grant wishes, he simply made their dreams come true. At first, it was just accidental, it seemed innocent enough.
That is, until he broke Ryouta's leg.
Yuya felt sick to his stomach, watching the other hobble around. He didn't get much better until Goseki was adopted.
Since then, he leaned how to control himself, to dream the dreams, but nothing else.
Title: Knower of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takaki, Yabu Kouta/Kamei Taku
Author's Notes: I was influenced...
Why don't you talk. Why don't you smile. Think you're too good for us? Think you're special.
Yuya had grown used to the taunting that was inevitable in a place that bred jealousy. He couldn't help being standoffish, it was disturbing to talk to people when you know what they wanted. He liked Yabu, but seeing about what he thought about Kamei was just too much.
Yuya had gotten used to defining people by their dreams and what they wanted. Some of the dreams were beautiful, breathtaking.
Yuya just remembered he could never make them real.
Nothing good ever happened.
Title: Defender of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takaki, Hasshi
Author's Notes: Because he was bound to show up soon enough.
Hasshi was something different, Yuya figured that out pretty quickly. The boy was just a bit younger then him, but Yuya had grown up in the orphanage so in ways, he was much younger. Hasshi was young, dorky, and eternally cheerful. Yuya really had nothing to do with him, everyone else welcomed him with open arms.
It was okay that way, Yuya was used to being on the outside.
But Hasshi.
Hasshi he knew nothing about. He knew things about everyone else. He knew their deepest secrets, their strongest desires. The wishes of their hearts.
He never dreamed of Hasshi.
Title: Bringer of Dreams
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Takaki, Hasshi
Author's Notes: Lalala, sap~
When Yuya appeared, Hasshi had known he would. Hasshi didn't quite understand why, but despite the fact that he'd never even spoken to Yuya, he felt like he understood him better then anyone ever could.
So he'd been waiting six months for Yuya to appear at his elbow, to stare at him in confusion. “Mm?”
“Why don't I dream about you?” The smaller (but older) boy demanded.
Hasshi had no idea what he was talking about. But he knew what to say.
“Maybe because I already know what I want~” He murmured softly, gently touching Yuya's cheek.
Title: Hunt
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya
Author's Notes: For
misosiru for the prompt and
loverswhocover. Dragons!Verse...sort of.
It was something he'd hunt for relentlessly, search for until found it. It was part of his being, it was in his blood, this need to find what he'd been searching for.
He'd gone from place to place, keeping on the move. He couldn't stay very long, not with a face that never aged, not when he possessed a beauty that was near inhuman. He didn't like settling down either.
His soul was old, but he'd never been patient.
Dragons could live forever. But he was running out of time to find the soul that had been created for him.
Title: New Day
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Kitayama
Author's Notes: High schools are a great way to search for the soulmates in life. I'm sure.
Letting his fringe fall over his eyes, Taisuke ducked his head as he headed in to his first day of high school. Well, not really, this was probably the third or forth, but it was his first day at Jyousou Gakuen. His new story was an old one.
Hi, I'm Fujigaya Taisuke, I'm a new senior that just transferred in.
He'd gotten used to it. The school seemed nice too.
“Oi, Fujigaya~!” Taisuke snapped out of his thoughts as a shorter, handsome classmate called his name. “C'mere.”
Taisuke felt a blush inexplicably spread over his cheeks. “Sure...”
Title: Chubby
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Kitayama, Kawai, the gang
Author's Notes: Fluffy :D Snark!
“You shouldn't nap, Hiro~.” Taisuke hummed at the boy leaning against him. “It's lunchtime, eat.”
Hiromitsu yawned and snuggled against him, his arms wrapping loosely around him. “Don't wanna...Taipi's comfortable.” He mumbled, already half asleep.
Taisuke felt that blush come again and decided it wasn't so bad.
“Of course Fujigaya's comfortable!” It was Kawai popping up, leering. Taisuke actually liked most of Hiro's friends, especially Goseki and Yokoo...but Kawai was a different matter. Kawai drove him insane, teasing him incessantly. “He's just so chubby.”
“Go to hell!” Taisuke snapped, throwing his garbage at him.
Title: Boytoy
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Kitayama, Kawai, Tottsu, Fujigaya
Author's Notes: More fluff~
“You're serious?!” Kawai stared in disbelief at Kitayama. Tottsu reached out to lightly slap him over the head. “Hey! What was that for?”
“Mitsu's allowed to date who he wants.” Tottsu rolled his eyes. “Stop acting like it's the end of the world.”
“But it's FUJIGAYA.” Kawai persisted. “I mean...gorgeous, would totally tap it...but he's such a brat!”
“I think he's sweet.” Hiro shrugged, stretching out on the couch.
“Hey guys!” Taisuke breezed in, immediately kicking Kawai off the spot next to Hiro.
“Have fun with your boytoy.” Kawai said sourly.
Title: Getting ready~
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Senga (Senga/Nika)
Author's Notes: Girl talk!
“Calm down, Taipi!” Senga laughed, catching both of Taisuke's hands. “You act like you've never been on a date before!”
Taisuke bit his lip, not wanting to admit that he had, in fact, never been on a date. (Despite being several thousand years old.) “H-hiro's special.” He stammered finally.
Senga examined him for a moment. “You're cute, Taipi~” He said finally, beaming. “It's like he's your soulmate!”
If only he knew how accurate that was. Taisuke wished he knew for sure...
“Do you think Nika's your soulmate?”
There wasn't even hesitation. “Of course!”
Title: Ready
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Kitayama
Author's Notes: Because Taisuke is so ready for it.
“So...” Hiro halted outside Taisuke's door, smiling sideways at him. “Had fun?”
Taisuke smiled, nodding quickly. His heart hadn't given a regular beat for several hours now. He was so sure of it now. He'd found Hiromitsu.
“I'm glad~” Hiro chuckled, swinging their twined hands for a moment. “I just wanted to say...” The shorter male trailed off as he leaned forward, gently pulling Taisuke down for a kiss.
-That was when the feeling of utter wrongness washed over him. He nearly jerked back in surprise.
Hiro...wasn't the one. It felt like his heart was breaking.
Title: Finally
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Kawai
Author's Notes: Someone likes being right.
“Is this why Kitamitsu's a storm cloud?”
Taisuke nearly jumped out of his skin (or set Kawai on fire) at the quiet words. He whirled around, seeing Kawai leaning against the door frame, arms folded, eyes questioning.
“None of your business.” He spat back, turning back to his suitcase.
“He really liked you, you know?” Kawai's words awakened the dull ache in Taisuke's chest. “I said you two shouldn't have gone out.”
“So sorry...” Taisuke couldn't quite make himself sound poisonous when suddenly he was jerked around, Kawai suddenly capturing his lips in a kiss.
Title: Shut up and Kiss me.
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Kawai
Author's Notes: More fail!snark?
When they surfaced for air, Taisuke's first reaction was to slap Kawai.
“OW!” Kawai stumbled back, holding his cheek. “Dammit, what was that for?”
“Of all the people!” Taisuke exclaimed in frustration. “It had to be you!”
“What're you talking about.” Kawai puffed his chest out and struck a pose. “I'm infinitely incredible and you adore me..”
Hands grabbed his shirt and Kawai found himself flat on his back, Taisuke crawling on top of him.
“Shut up and kiss me.”
“Brat.”
“Fuck you.”
“That's my job.”
Which Kawai definitely enjoyed.
Title: Cheater
Unit for Points: Hey!Say!JUMP
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Fujigaya, Kawai
Author's Notes: Idk if I'm even numbering these right...Idk, I like this pair. u_u I don't know if I'm writing Kawai very well at all....And there really wasn't much about dragons in here. u_u I DON'T KNOW!
“I heard you say it.” Kawai wouldn't stop poking Fujigaya, saying it over and over again.
“Stop it!” He protested, trying to catch those hands whilst turning red.
“I heard it~” Kawai singsonged. “Say it to my face, Tai-chan~”
“Fumi.” Taisuke tried to growl, failing as Kawai twisted, pinning him on his back. “You don't fight fair!”
Kawai shrugged nonchalantly. “Sometimes cheating is the only way to win fair and square.”
“That makes no sense...”
“Say it.” Kawai started tickling him mercilessly.
“Nonononon, I love-I love you!” Taisuke finally said.
