Hahahaha to the chipmunk remark. I found that oral surgery was the best diet ever. I just laid on my couch all week, dreaming of hamburgers. I ate Girl Scout cookies mostly, because they dissolved after awhile.

I was accidently given two painkiller prescriptions, and was afraid to try either, since there is such a stigma surrounding them. I tried to go back to work, which at the time was waiting tables, and I took a Vicodin. I ended up being limp and giggly the whole night and was sent home. It was really fun.

So far I've had one protein shake and three yogurts since the surgery. The night before I made a point of having a hamburger to have some excess content in my stummy. I think that having my mouth full of gauze the first day will turn me off from swallowing anything that has dissolved in my mouth.

I can just imagine having a drugged up waitress. You're nuts.

The one thing I learned from getting my wisdom teeth out is that if it is hurting after the first day, go to the dentist asap. This could be the case with your remaining two. My bottom two gaps gave me the most agonizing pain for 5 days before I finally went back to the guy and he did all sorts of crazy shit and it felt like removing rocks from ma shoes, twas wonderful.

And I had percoset (sp) which had the opposite effect on me: All drowsy and dizzy with absolutely no help with the pain. So i'd just take 3 and pass out to go to sleep!

Thanks for the advice, my guy is great, he's called me each day to make sure there aren't little things wrong that spell big problems.

I'm more worried about next week's operation as I said.

Ciao
