Summary: Kimura was kidnapped and Shingo just had to find him…
Shingo overslept that day, and was going to be late for the meeting he arranged with his partner, Kimura. So he caught a take-away breakfast (an excellent mayo bottle) and climbed on his pink bike. Shingo was pedaling with all his might, and arrived to his office only two hours late.
Shingo opened the door of the office, panting. He found out he didn't have to run at all seeing as Kimura didn't arrive yet.
"What, is he still sleeping?" wondered Shingo.
Shingo knew that Kimura had problems waking up in the morning, or just problems waking up, as a trauma from the times he had to wake up at night to change diapers. So he decided to call Kimura and wake him up.
But Kimura didn't pick up the phone.
"Weird," murmured Shingo (He used to talk to himself). "Maybe he went to buy something."
So Shingo checked if Kimura left a note about his disappearance. There was no note with Kimura's handwriting. There was only one note, nailed to the door with a paper-knife, with an unknown handwriting, and in the note was written:
"I came when you weren't here and took that thing. If you want to see it ever again, come to my house with 5 kilos of popcorn."
And it was signed "Tsuyoshi".
"He was kidnapped by Tsuyoshi! I must go and save him!" shouted Shingo. "But it's problematic, I know two Tsuyoshies. How would I know which one of them is the culprit?"
Shingo thought very hard, and found a solution.
"I'll call Yamapi," he decided.
Ten minutes later, Yamapi presented himself at the door of Shingo and Kimura's office.
"You were my assistant in a detective-drama," said Shingo. "So you obviously know how to solve mysteries."
"No, I'm an actor like you," tried Yamapi to say, but Shingo interfered him.
"Which Tsuyoshi wrote that?" he asked.
"Which Tsuyoshi know the address of the office?" asked Yamapi back.
"Kusanagi Tsuyoshi," answered Shingo, and his eyes light up. "Wow Yamapi, you're really smart! And because of that, you'll help me find Kimura."
"So let's meet near Tsuyoshi's house," said Yamapi. "After we wear detective's costumes and bring everything that is necessary for surveillance."
They met half an hour later. Yamapi brought binoculars and a notepad. Shingo brought three bottles of mayo and a bottle of mustard, for diversity. They observed Tsuyopon's house till they ran out of provisions, in other words- two hours.
"Maybe we should just bring 5 kilos of popcorn and try to ransom Kimura?"
"Good idea," agreed Shingo, and they went to buy the popcorn.
Shingo knock the door, and Tsuyopon opened it.
"Come in," he invited Shingo, Yamapi and the popcorn to his house.
"Here is the popcorn," said Shingo. "Now bring Kimura."
"What?" asked Tsuyopon in confusion.
"He's pretending to know nothing so we'll come again with more popcorn," whispered Shingo to Yamapi, and to Tsuyopon he said, "I know you have Kimura with you. You left a note stuck to the door with a knife."
"Ah, that note," called Tsuyopon. "I left it to Kimura. I came when he wasn't around and took back the movie he borrowed from me. I told him that if he wants to see it again, he's invited to come to my house with popcorn and we'll watch it together."
"Why did you nail it with a knife?" asked Shingo.
"So Kimura will notice it," answered Tsuyopon. "He's a little hazy."
"Maybe the movie will give us a clue about where Kimura is," said Yamapi.
"That's not a bad idea," agreed Shingo.
Tsuyopon started the movie. Shingo didn't understand what is going on, except from the fact that Kame and Jin fought all the time.
"What delinquents," said Tsuyopon sadly.
"That's it!" called Shingo. "They are the ones who kidnapped Kimura
"Why would they do that?" asked Yamapi.
"Because they're delinquents!" called Shingo and Tsuyopon together.
"This is the cave of the beast," whispered Shingo and peeked behind the bushes.
"The Johnny's Entertainment building?" asked Yamapi skeptically.
"Of course," said Shingo. "Where else can you find Kame and Jin together?"
Yamapi didn't think he needs to tell Shingo that Jin is no longer in JE, so they entered the building.
And in the entrance hall they met Tackey, talking with some juniors.
"Tackey!" called Shingo. "You know everything about KAT-TUN! Where are they now?"
"In the restaurant 'Ho, Mama!'," said Tackey without hesitation. "They meet there with Koki and Jin, far from Johnny's eyes."
"I remember that restaurant!" shouted Shingo. "I went there often when I played Shingo-mama to learn Mamaizm from professionals."
"'Ho, Mama!'?" asked Yamapi in confusion, but Shingo already left.
"Nobody moves!" screamed Shingo after he opened the restaurant's door with a kick. A mamaish waitress passed before his eyes.
"There they are," said Yamapi and pointed at a corner table.
Shingo charged at KAT-TUN and grabbed Kame and Jin by their collars. "Where is he?" roared Shingo.
"Who?" asked Kame while Jin said "There!" and pointed at Nakamaru.
"That's not Kimura," said Shingo and hit Jin's head. "Where is he? I know you have Kimura!"
"We don't have him," said Kame. "And we don't know where he is."
"Maybe he was kidnapped by aliens," said Jin.
"That's a reasonable possibility," said Shingo thoughtfully.
"Which aliens do you know?" asked Yamapi bluntly.
"There's Aiba," said the mamaish waitress that popped from behind Yamapi suddenly. "Ohno always said that he's an alien."
"Thanks, Mama!" called Shingo and dashed out of the restaurant, while Yamapi trailed after him.
"Now," said Shingo. "We need to take Aiba in questioning without his suspect."
"No matter what we'll do," said Yamapi. "He won't suspect a thing. I will call him."
He took out his cellphone and called Aiba.
Aiba came to Shingo and Kimura's office with his sax.
"Why did he bring the sax?" whispered Shingo to Yamapi.
"I asked him to bring something he treasures," whispered Yamapi back. "So we'll have a hostage."
Aiba gave the sax to Yamapi willingly and sat on a chair. Shingo handcuffed him to the chair with handcuffs.
"What are we playing?" asked Aiba with sparkling eyes.
"Where is Kimura?" asked Shingo.
"In a ramen restaurant. No! On DASH Island," answered Aiba and closed his eyes. "Wait, wait, on top of Tokyo Tower!"
"Are you sure?" asked Yamapi.
"The point is that I guess and you say if I'm right, no?" asked Aiba.
"No!" yelled Shingo in frustration. "We're trying to find Kimura!"
"And Jin told us he was kidnapped by aliens," added Yamapi. "And you're the only alien we know."
"What about Goro?" asked Aiba. "His hair acts like a living creature, curling however he likes."
"It doesn't mean anything," snorted Yamapi contemptuously.
"He also parks a spaceship near his house," added Aiba.
Shingo disappeared through the door.
"Bye," called Yamapi and run after Shingo. "And thanks."
"I was glad to help," said Aiba with a smile.
And then his smile disappeared.
"Release me!" he yelled.
"Goro is a nice guy," explained Shingo to Yamapi while they were walking down Tokyo's alleys. "So if we ask him to give us Kimura back, he will probably agree."
"Okay," approved Yamapi, although he didn't think that the person who kidnapped Kimura will give him back so easily.
"Let's ring the bell and run," suggested Shingo.
"Why?" asked Yamapi. "Aren't we supposed to release Kimura?"
"We will ring," explained Shingo. "And when Goro will come to open the door, we will get in through the window."
"This won't end well," murmured Yamapi, but Shingo already rang. They turned to run away and saw Goro behind them.
They screamed and hugged each other in terror.
"Where are you going?" asked Goro. "Just now you rang the bell."
"Give Kimura back to us, you alien!" shouted Shingo straight to the point.
"I don't have Kimura," replied Goro calmly.
"We know you kidnapped Kimura!" blamed Yamapi.
"Kimura wasn't kidnapped," said Goro. "He went on a vacation with his family."
"How do you know that?" asked Yamapi suspiciously.
"Because he told me yesterday," said Goro. "When we went drinking."
"So where did he go?" asked Yamapi.
"I have no idea," said Goro and shrugged his shoulders. "Ask Nakai. He's smart, so he probably knows."
"I told you Goro is nice," said Shingo with a smile while they walked to the train station.
Shingo hit Nakai's door enthusiastically.
Nakai opened his door a bit.
"What do you want?" asked the half face they could see.
"Where's Kimura?" asked Shingo.
"How should I know?" replied Nakai. "Who am I, Johnny? I don't know where everyone is in any second."
And the door slammed.
"So let's go and ask Johnny," said Yamapi to Shingo, who still stared at the door in insult.
And they went.
"Shingo," said Yamapi to the spoken Shingo, who took a nap at a station bench.
Shingo mumbled.
"Do you know that it's night right now?" asked Yamapi.
"I know that," said Shingo with a yawn. "Do you know that?"
Yamapi ignored the hint to shut up.
"And that means," continued Yamapi. "That Johnny already went home."
Shingo's eyes opened wildly.
"He already went home and you didn't tell me?" roared Shingo.
"Let's go to talk to Johnny tomorrow," said Yamapi.
They departed at the platform and went to sleep.
The next day, at sunrise, they presented themselves at Johnny's office door.
"It's very early now," complained Shingo.
"Its 12 am right now," replied Yamapi and knocked on the door.
They were invited to come in.
"Talk fast," said Johnny. "I have a busy schedule of erasing videos from YouTube."
"Where's Kimura?" asked Yamapi.
"He went on a vacation with his family," told them Johnny. "In Hawaii."
"Hawaii?!" shuddered Shingo. "What? How? Who gave him permission?"
"I gave him permission," replied Johnny. "And anyway, he's returning today."
"Good!" called Shingo and dashed out of Johnny's office, down the stairs, toward the entrance door.
And there he bumped into no other but Kimura.
"Kimura!" called Shingo and hugged him. "I missed you!"
