Notes: This is actually my first time writing smut but I do hope that you like it~
Summary: Sometimes, forbidden love is a metaphor for true love - we just have to see it, to believe it.
It was no later than 7AM when Chinen Yuri made his way towards Euterpe Dance Academy where he is considered to be an ace in ballet. At the same time, Takaki Yuya stood in front of the academy’s headmaster with the big smile on his face.
“This will have to do” Chinen whispered as he entered an empty room and set his bag aside before walking towards the speaker and placing a CD inside the player. Putting on his ballet shoes, Chinen moved towards the middle of the room and began to dance, losing himself in the music as he did so.
“Are you ready for your first day of teaching Takaki-sensei?” Asked Headmaster Tsukada as Takaki nodded enthusiastically.
The principal then took out a school map from his drawer and handed it to Takaki.
“This will help you get around the school. Those marked in red are where your classes are and behind the map is your schedule.” The headmaster explained as Takaki accepted the map and nodded. “You should get ready, classes start at 8am.”
“We’re very pleased to have you as a teacher Takaki-sensei.” Principal Tsukada smiled as Takaki bowed in response.
“I’m likewise, very happy to be here, Tsukada-san” Takaki smiled as his superior motioned towards the door, and with that - Takaki nodded and left the room.
Making his way through the building, Takaki peeked through the rooms with the hopes of meeting some of his students. Passing by Room 408, Takaki went to a halt the second he saw a figure moving gracefully inside.
“Well what do we have here?” Takaki whispered as he watched the figure dance. With much precaution, Takaki entered the room and made his way towards the said figure.
Chinen’s eyes were closed as he danced, though his eyes abruptly opened when he felt himself get lifted from the ground.
“Who are you?” Chinen whispered as he looked at the mirror in front of him and eyes his lifter before being put down. Their dance continued until the music stopped, Chinen bowed and so did the other.
“You dance beautifully.” Takaki smiled before bowing out of respect, “Oh, I’m really sorry for intruding on you.”
“I’m fine with it, I don’t really mind” Chinen replied with a shake of his head.
Takaki stood straight. “I’m Takaki Yuya by the way, a new addition to the faculty.”
He then offered his hand for a shake which the latter did with a smile.
“I’m Chinen Yuri, a student from the special class. It’s a pleasure to meet you sensei.” Chinen smiled, returning the introduction.
Takaki looked at his schedule, “I’m teaching a few lessons in your class”
Chinen graced a smile as he let go of his teacher’s hand. “I look forward to working with you then, Takaki-sensei.”
Takaki looked at Chinen, scanning him as he did so. ’He’s so cute I can’t even, Takaki thought as the latter tilted his head.
"Is everything alright sensei?” Chinen questioned.
Takaki bobbed his head in agreement. “It was an honour to dance with you, Chinen-kun.”
Either party bowed at each other.
“I should be the one saying that sensei.” Chinen stated which made Takaki grin.
“Have you been here for long?” Takaki inquired but before Chinen could make a sound, the bell rang which signalled the start of classes.
Chinen hurriedly grabbed his things and bowed to the Takaki, “Please excuse me.”
Chinen hurried out the door.
“Chinen Yuri, huh?” Takaki smirked as he too left the room and walked down the halls with students frantically running for their class, where he should be as well.

“You missed your last period!” Nakajima Yuto, Chinen’s best friend, whined as he placed his arm over Chinen’s shoulders. The latter looked up at him and sighed before waving an envelope in front of him. The envelope bore the school as well as the headmaster’s seal on it which made Yuto frantically grab a hold of the envelope.
“Did you get in trouble? What did you do this time Yuri?!” Yuto panicked as he pried open the envelope, eyes scanning the contents of the letter feverishly.
“A schedule?” Yuto inquired as Yuri kept on walking, the former’s eyes widened at the paper at hand and quickly turned it to Chinen who sighed.
“You’re getting special lessons from the new teacher?” Yuto questioned.
Chinen nodded as he graced the schedule as well as the envelope from Yuto before stuffing it inside his bag. “Not my fault. Also, I met him this morning, the next thing I know he’s requested the headmaster for those special lessons.”
Yuto crossed his arms. “You have no idea who Takaki Yuya is, don’t you?”
Chinen glared at him, shook his head and stuck his tongue out before saying, “No, I don’t and I don’t want to.”
“Remember the dance contest you auditioned for last year?” Yuto asked as Chinen began to walk again.
“Don’t remind me about it, Yutti” Chinen muttered as Yuto walked along with him.
“He was the grand champion; I heard he studied in Italy before deciding to teach here.” Yuto remarked.
Chinen replied with an irritated look, fuming, “I told you that I didn’t want to know, Yuto.”
His company bowed his head and mumbled, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s not like I wanted those special lessons with him.” Chinen muttered above a whisper, quite loud enough for Yuto to hear.
“I’m sure he has a reason for doing so Yuri.” Yuto smiled as the latter nodded. “Be optimistic dude! You’re Chinen Yuri, the academy’s prodigy!”
Chinen chuckled and nodded a little as they exited the academy. “See you tomorrow!”
Yuto graced a smile as Chinen nodded before they went their separate ways.
On his way home, Chinen looked at his schedule again and scanned the contents, ‘I only have 3 classes in a week with him, I’m sure it won’t be that bad’ he told himself as he made his way towards his dorm.

“I can’t believe it!” Chinen cursed under his breath as he ran towards Room 408, the same room that he and Takaki first met which is also the room that their classes will be held at. Chinen was five minutes late for their first class and it made him worry that his tardiness would affect his teacher’s impression on him as a performer and as a student which Chinen didn’t want to happen.
“Sensei!” Chinen stated as he opened the door of the room to find Takaki dancing to Swan Lake in the middle of the room.
“You’re late.” Takaki whispered as he never stopped dancing.
Chinen bowed lowly before explaining, “Fumito-san dismissed us late today sensei.”
Takaki neared him. “That is never a valid excuse. But since it’s our first day, I’ll forgive you this time.”
The teacher lifted the latter’s chin up with his thumb. “Clear?”
The student nodded rather nervously.
“Get on the dance floor; we’re going to practice The Nutcracker Suite today.” Takaki clapped his hands as Chinen hurriedly dropped his things and walked towards the dance floor as Takaki turned on the music and their class began.

“You look keen to attend your classes with Takaki-sensei today.” Yuto teased as Chinen stuck his tongue out in response. “Could it be?! Chinen has a crush on the teacher?”
Chinen blushed a bit before slapping Yuto’s arm, hissing as he tediously tied his ballet shoes. “It’s not funny, Nakajima.”
“What’s your next class?” Chinen asked as Yuto picked up his sling bag.
“I have tap then jazz.” Yuto replied as Chinen nodded.
“I’m assuming that this is your last class of the day?” Yuto inquired as Chinen nodded.
“Lucky!” The taller gave him two thumbs up.
“Do you want me to walk you?” Yuto suggested.
Chinen shook his head as he stood with his bag up, “I can manage, Yuto.”
“I’ll see you early tomorrow, then.” Yuto waved at Chinen; who made his way towards his classroom where Takaki was waiting for him.
“I’m here, sensei.” Chinen entered the room.
Takaki nodded and turned to him before inquiring, “How long has it been since we started classes together?”
Chinen replied to with a confused expression; “A month or so, sensei?”
“We’re going to have an exercise today.” Takaki stated as he neared the other, placing a blindfold over Chinen’s eyes when he was before him.
“I’m going to see if you remember what we practiced last week” The teacher whispered into the latter’s eyes which made him shiver.
“Yes, sensei.” Chinen whispered as the teacher guided him towards the center of the room.
“Dance.” Takaki commanded as he pressed the play button on the player, causing Chinen to start dancing almost immediately.
Chinen felt himself hit the floor as the music stopped and it caught him by surprise, “Can I take the blindfold off now sensei?”
No response.
“Sensei?” he asked again.
“No.” Takaki’s reply was short and it was enough to make the latter gulp in fear.
Takaki helped Chinen get up and captured him into an embrace.
“You do not know how much you captivate me when you dance.” Takaki whispered which made Chinen blush.
“You know something, Chinen-kun? I think I might be in love with you.” Takaki whispered as he took off Chinen’s blindfold and pressed his lips against his. And to his surprise, Chinen kissed back. The teacher deepened the kiss to which Chinen responded to immediately.
When the kiss broke, Chinen embraced Takaki with a smile; “I think I’m in love with you too, sensei.”
Takaki took the latter into his arms and muttered, “Come home with me.”
Chinen looked up at him and nodded.
The two left the campus together. No contact was made and no words were exchanged. Instead of taking the bus, they both opted to walk since the buses passing were full. They reached Takaki’s condominium after a few minutes of walking, and still no words were exchanged - silence even filled their elevator ride to the 3rd floor where Takaki’s unit was. Chinen followed closely behind his teacher with his hands inside his pockets. Truth be told, he didn’t know what came to his mind that made him agree but there was no going back now as they reached Takaki’s unit. Chinen gulped when the door opened and Takaki entered, Chinen followed suit closing the door behind him as he did so.
Takaki pinned Chinen against the door with a rough kiss, quickly removing the latter’s clothes as he did so. Chinen, unsure of what to do, imitated the actions of his teacher and soon; they were both left in their underwear. Takaki broke the kiss as the need for air came; he looked into Chinen’s eyes as if looking for approval which he got when Chinen gave a slight nod. The teacher carried his student towards his room and gently placed him on the bed where their kiss continued.

“It seems that Takaki-sensei has resigned from his position as a teacher in this academy, therefore your special classes with him will be halted.” The headmaster announced sadly.
Chinen’s eyes widened in shock, “Why did he leave?”
He tried to act as calm as possible though his heart was crushed.
“He said he was offered another job someplace else and simply didn’t want to teach at Euterpe anymore.” Headmaster Tsukada explained.
Chinen swallowed gravely before bowing lightly, “Thank you for telling me Headmaster.”
The headmaster nodded. “You’re dismissed.”
Chinen made his way out of the office. The moment the doors closed behind him, Chinen’s tears fell and questions started to fill his head - but the biggest question that he asked himself was : why?

Months have passed since Takaki left the school. Chinen convinced himself that everything that had been during that time was all a big mistake and was more than determined to forget about it but he couldn’t - a few parts of it, that is. He still loved Takaki and whether Takaki really loved him or not was a big mystery to Chinen that probably won’t be solved any time soon.
Chinen sighed as he walked towards a small ballet school near his house to pick-up his 3-year-old cousin from class. He remembered how he started dancing and that this small ballet school helped him prepare for the present. Chinen watched as the children danced and he looked at his cousin with a smile and waved at her - the little girl was more than happy to wave back.
“Are you her guardian?” Someone asked from behind.
Chinen turned and nodded, “Yes I am, I’m her cousin.”
At first, he only regarded the person to answer his question. His eyes widened in surprise when realization dawned on him. It was Takaki - the actual Takaki. Chinen was in such a state of shock that he couldn’t speak. So instead of letting words speak, he embraced Takaki and the other responded.
“You stupid idiot” Chinen ranted as tears fell from his eyes. “Where did you go? Why did you leave?”
Takaki wiped his tears away. “You and I could never be together if I remained there, so I decided to leave.”
Chinen shook his head, “Then why didn’t you tell me?”
Takaki placed his hands on the latter’s shoulders. “Because… I wanted to see if you and I were really meant to be.”
Takaki responded as he placed a kiss on Chinen’s lips breaking the kiss quickly as he remembered where they were.
“I hate you so much.” Chinen hissed as Takaki embraced him again.
“I love you too.” Takaki replied as Chinen chuckled. “Now that I’m out of the school and we found each other, maybe, we could try again?”
Chinen gulped and nodded, “Alright, let’s try again.”
Takaki grinned before cheering, ecstatic, “Yes! Yes!”
Chinen laughed in response. ”Because it’s you, Takaki Yuya. I’ll be more than willing to try again - forbidden or not.’

Chinen swallowed gravely before bowing lightly, “Thank you for telling me Headmaster.”
The headmaster nodded. “You’re dismissed.”

Months have passed since Takaki left the school. At first, he only regarded the person to answer his question. His eyes widened in surprise when realization dawned on him. It was Takaki - the actual Takaki. Chinen was in such a state of shock that he couldn’t speak. So instead of letting words speak, he embraced Takaki and the other responded.
“You stupid idiot” Chinen ranted as tears fell from his eyes. “Where did you go? Why did you leave?”
Takaki wiped his tears away. “You and I could never be together if I remained there, so I decided to leave.”
Chinen shook his head, “Then why didn’t you tell me?”
Takaki placed his hands on the latter’s shoulders. “Because… I wanted to see if you and I were really meant to be.”
Takaki responded as he placed a kiss on Chinen’s lips breaking the kiss quickly as he remembered where they were.
“I hate you so much.” Chinen hissed as Takaki embraced him again.
“I love you too.” Takaki replied as Chinen chuckled. “Now that I’m out of the school and we found each other, maybe, we could try again?”
Chinen gulped and nodded, “Alright, let’s try again.”
Takaki grinned before cheering, ecstatic, “Yes! Yes!”
Chinen laughed in response. ”Because it’s you, Takaki Yuya. I’ll be more than willing to try again - forbidden or not.’
