FIRST OF ALL, I AM SO SORRY FOR REPLYING SO LATE. Sounds like a lame excuse but I was literally away in the mountains the past week. I've been dying to read this and I've saved an entire afternoon on the last dear of the year with a huge cup of chamomile to simply curl up and lose myself in this story ( ... )

And last but not the least, Jun. You handled Jun with such deft, gentle hands, and it's the fic version of Jun that I adore the most: you capture his prickliness but most of all his kindness. The way you wrote his struggles about the whole ordeal, his internal battle--they all felt true to him. Also of course I can't do away without mentioning that IT'S JUST SO GREAT THAT HE'S THIS HOT BAKER DUDE WITH A TINY APRONED WAIST BEING ALL BAKING ADONIS AND SHIT ( ... )

This was heartbreakingly beautiful and I don't even know where to start. All the tiny details, the slow build up, the endearing characters - this really was one of the best fanfics if not the best I've ever read. It had me chew on my fingernails (a nasty habit I thought I've given up) snicker and sob all at once. Thank you for sharing!

I paint my nails to keep from biting them. I don't like the taste of nail polish ;)

I'm glad you liked it, thank you so much!

This was heartbreaking but at the same time I really enjoyed it. Jun's angst as he tries to follow his dreams and finds himself at the edge of giving the values he prides himself on. (And hating himself for it). And Sho trying to do everything in his power to protect Michiko-san and can't help falling for Matsumoto Jun and his sweets. ;D It isn't a happy ending but everyone gets their little happiness and I think that's excellent.

Jun was a little bit more neutral/uncaring in my original outline, a little more interested in getting the money. But all I had to do was start writing his first POV scene and I just knew it wasn't going to work. Because that's not who Jun is at all. And that made the story take off for me :)

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the bittersweet ending!
