So, I'll be honest, I totally was not expecting a Jin-centric fic for this, but that's ok because I really love what you've done here with him/the story.
I like how what at first plays off as episodic events in life are then later revealed to be dreams expressing Jin's own anxieties about his music and wanting to be more than what's already out there and what people/fans expect him to be.
Also, thank you. Thank you for not writing a Jin who was a moronic frat-boy who was incapable of any depth at all. Fandom seems to rarely realize that you can go out (or stay in) and drink and not have it all be about getting wasted and/or laid, especially when Jin is concerned. So really, thank you for giving me something both introspective and light. I really enjoyed reading this.

I'm so glad your were able to enjoy this; it had deviated so far from what it was originally supposed to be that I was pretty sure it in no way resembled anything you had wanted by the end of it. I've got to say, your prompts were so wonderful that it was a bit intimidating to try to fill (and please keep encouraging cyber/steampunk, because there needs to be more of those).
