Hello, and welcome to the rules/FAQ post for the first challenge year of je_otherworlds! As things are changing due to the new nature of Otherworlds, please make sure to read the post in its entirety, although again, most of it may be a refresher. Nevertheless, it's always good to review!

Is it possible to only submit a prompt or only sign-up? Or can you only submit a prompt if you plan to sign-up and vice versa?

Unfortunately, you may only submit one prompt if you plan on writing as well, there is no one without the other. This is to dissuade people from leaving tons of prompts and have no one writing them.

Does the main character have to be an active Johnny or could it also be someone who dropped out/was kicked out of the company (e.g. Jin or Koki)?

Sorry for the late reply, but the main character should be an active Johnny. Cameos by former employees are okay, though (such as Jin, Koki, Jimmy Mackey, etc).
