after 3+ years of not turning on, my imac has miraculously turned back on. i'm glad i decided to try it one more time before taking it to get repaired. hopefully it will last.

Maybe it was a loose power cable?

i checked that...

it would turn on, but then it would get stuck on the "booting up" screen.
