Oh gods, this fic. OMG.
Gosh. I just CAN'T.
I don't even ship any of the pairings and this had me hooked SO BAD.
The feels were so powerful, OMG THE ANGST.
Maybe it's because Chinen owns me, but I could feel his pain so CLEARLY T_T
It reminded me of a movie called "The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind", so bittersweet. The inevitable things, the inevitable attraction, over and over T_T
AND OMFG Fuma
His reactions are so restrained through all of the fic. OMG. I just wanna hug him.
Nobody in this story is in an easy position T_T
It got to me me so much.

I love Eternal Sunshine, this is definitely inspired by that movie. I love the idea that even if you try to change it, some people are just drawn to each other on a deeper level!

The bar seduction scene was one of the first things I wrote when I’d decided there was a Chinen/Fuma history, I really liked the idea of past Fuma knowing there was something fishy and still fucking with things anyway. I’m just sad I couldn’t make it a bit smuttier, I really wanted to porn but it just ruined the flow a bit too much.

I really need to apologise that it took so long to reply to your comment!!! I am the worst at replying >_< You have no idea how unbelievably relieved I am that you liked this though. When I got my assignment I was equal parts terrified and excited. I couldn’t decide which pairing to write because I wanted to try writing one of your OTPs but I’m not overly confident writing Fuma and spoiled brat Chinen is so easy to fall into! I was super excited about all of the awesome prompts though. I seriously think I played around with every single one of them!! The ‘don’t marry him’ one HAD to be done though. I loved the idea so much!

I’ve always wanted to do time travel though, but I’m a stickler for detail so it had to be explainable. I seriously struggled so much with how I wanted the dynamics of actually time travelling to work >_< I’m really glad that you went geek mode with the sciency stuff though, it makes completely worth all of the headaches XD
