i think the first season spanned 1492-97ish, if my research is correct? (1497 is about when lucrezia gave birth.)

next season should be a bit more interesting, especially for cesare. (he resigned as cardinal in 1498.) lots of conquests and that sort of thing.

the cesare/ursula thing isn't historically accurate, no, and there was very little chemistry between the two actors (at least IMO).

i adore lucrezia. *nods* and while she had amazing moments with cesare, i also love her interactions with giulia. :)

Gorgeousness! The Borgias is just a visually stunning show. Lucrezia is definitely my favorite character in this show. I loved her story arc and how her and Cesare are with one another. I didn't like the Ursula arc either, it just seemed like they wanted to give Cesare a relationship and it really didn't do anything for him. It didn't help that there was like no chemistry whatsoever between the two actors (imho).
