sorry the trich has surged up - has having shorter helped at all? Just curious, I love your hair! I'm super happy with my short hair too - crazy much.

As for not being a romance writer - I hear you, I've always been on the outside of that genre but that's okay too - but you are right, one tends to bond with one's like-minded writers. It is however required that I be part of your writing no matter what. I think you know that. :) Selene is WONDERFUL and I cant wait to enjoy her story!!

I should write a post. It will be long and rambly but I want to put down my thoughts about last weekend and what it meant to me (surprising me actually).

Bad days with trich tend to come in waves every few months. Short hair helps a little, but it's still long enough that pulling is easy to do. Next time I might go a tiny bit shorter ( ... )

I have been researching things all afternoon, working on my old ms I pulled up to revise and submit. Yeah I have lots of thoughts about groups and such - a main problem I had before but it was the way it was. I always longed to be in a group of like-minded writers but didn't know how to find them. I'm going back to m/m - I had such an amazing time last weekend, am super-jazzed about starting a series based on storm chasers with a slight futuristic twist. The sci is going to be turned into a full book too - and that is going to be NOT a romance, but a girl-bromance. Girmance? LOL. I just want it to be not a romance at all. I want that book out there! I can't do just sci fi, and realize I don't have to.

The fantasy though - it is on hold until I get this ms out to a publisher I am eyeballing.

Well I signed up for Ladies Who Critique, and have had a bit of success so far. I'm emailing and trading chapters with someone and hopefully things work out. She sent me the first chapter of her YA SciFi and she's got a fantastic voice and I was definitely hooked into her story.

So back to m/m. You must email me or update with post that I can read that talks about your decision! I want to knooow! A girl bromance would be just friends, I think. Only boys need a special nickname to make them feel manly. :P

Futuristic storm chasers sounds cool. I'm totally imagining people in space chasing space storms. But maybe yours is not THAT futuristic? LOL

Tell me more!
