and not beating me up, just a ...erm....friendly reminder?
The main problem with my hairdresser is that she's my mother's cousin and so she generally take what I ask for as a request for her to go and do whatever she likes *rolls eyes*
I bet your hair looks wicked cute anyway, and besides bobs are soooo in and stylish right now! Also, that blows about the breaks, here it is unlawful to work four hours or more without a paid fifteen minute break.
aw you're a sweetheart but trust me the bob isn't a good look on me... and I thought we had the same laws over here but apparently not. When the boss isn't on we generally can bludge a little but these shifts are all with the head manager *face-palm*
Sorry about the haircut love, but like you said, it'll grow back. Hairdressers never seem to listen, do they? As for your "happier stuff' - upon your recommendation, I've just started watching Part 1 of Being Human. I'm really liking it so far, so thanks for that.
I'll keep telling you that my hair will grow back and that the job is paying for the overseas trip you'll take after uni as well. It will be less painful than a baseball bat, and it will be so annoying that it'll will sitck in your head whether you want it to or not ;P
As for Being Human, it's great, isn't it? Everything about it is wonderful, particularly the subtle-as-a-sledgehammer slash (And while I do love George/Mitchell, I have to admit I have a small soft spot for George/Tully. Or George/anyone really. As well as Gilbert/branch and Tully/roast chicken... I may have a bit of a problem.)
Tully/roast-chicken is giving a whole new meaning to "stuffing" (and you think you have a problem?).
I think I'm a george/mitchell girl but I really like Nina too :)
expect an "it's always the quiet ones" icon soon XD
Tully was a bit obnoxious (and then later...creepy) for me but I think one of my favourite George moments in that episode was when George goes into the shed, watches Tully do what he did, leaves and has to think about it before deciding to go back (and here's me going for vague so as not to be spoilery) I thought that was just incredibly human and a brilliant moment to put in.
Thanks for the advice it helps hearing it from other people too :D - although the offer to break my kneecap is still valid... ;) - and I'm really glad you like #5 ;)
Tully/roast-chicken is giving a whole new meaning to "stuffing" *snorts* And then there's the boning, the stripping of the flesh, and the fact that their are chicken breasts and thighs to, er, play with... I should probably stop now ;P
I'm fairly sure this is going to be one of the shows in which I ship almost everyone with almost everything but still has that one OTP (in this case George/Mitchell, in the other two cases of the phenomenon Sam/Gene and Doctor/Master) which slightly stands out.
And more icons!!! *happy dance*
I thought that was just incredibly human and a brilliant moment to put in. That is the best thing about the show, IMHO - that even in the midst of a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf sharing a flat, the rise of the vampires and all the other supernatural things going on, it handles the tiniest little details of actually being human, like the moment you mentioned, so very well.
