At least it was only 20 minutes spent on the drabble that shall never be. I wasted a good chunk of the morning brainstorming but you're so right, Sam and Gene just belong to each other and I just don't have the chops to go all AU fluff-bunny on them, lol.

haha so true :)

I was trying to go for angsty Gen but it just doesn't want to work. (Although, I've started working on it again now...dammit).

I actually couldn't bring myself to write Het. lol :)

LOL, at first glance I read 'angsty Gene' and was about to cheekily ask how that qualifies as an opposite for you ;)

Since I write both slash and het, gen was my only option as well, or else a really out-there slash pairing, but even that didn't seem opposite enough because I love rarepairs, just don't get to write them often enough. Gen, though? Gah, can't do it.

haha me? angsty Gene? surely not ;)

But yeah Gen can be great when it's well done but I tend to view it as pre-slash or moments between slash (because if it's well done for Sam and Gene there's still going to be slashy undertones).

lol :)
yeah I've given up now ;) so past tense "tried" is slightly more appropriate :)
It's a tricky prompt but it's turned out some great drabbles.

(btw MANNY *SQUEE!*)

But they were only small easter eggs, so the calories don't count. *hee*

I want to squish your Simmy icon. It's adorable. ♥

haha yeeeeeeees. I'm going to stick with that excuse ;)

And Jip is adorable isn't he? I was so happy when I found Human Traffic in the store :)

As for icons you have a mightily squishable one yourself ;)

N'awww, Jip. ♥ So cute and bouncy and adorable! (And looks quite good with his shirt off. ;) ) I do love that film.

Sammy's middle name is 'squishable'. Bless.

Too true!!!

oh hey! I think I asked you before (but I probably forgot) I was wondering what program you use to rip from dvds?

I'm trying to backup LOM on my computer for vidding but I can't find a decent program.

Regarding easter eggs - hey, it's only once a year, so enjoy yourself.
As for the fic - you are right. Sam and Gene are MADE to be slashed. Trying to write a story without that element is near impossible (and not as much fun:)) But I do wish you good luck with any other drabbles you're working on and I'm looking forward to reading them.

Oh good, I'm not the only one listening to "The Boat That Rocked" soundtrack. And if it makes you feel any better, reading this has made me feel like chocolate, so much so that I might go next door soon and buy some. *facepalm* What can I say, I'm easily influenced.

Also, don't talk to me about assignments *stares at empty Word window, taunting me with it's blankness*

it's an awesome soundtrack

now for the real question... can you listen to "Stay With Me Baby" and not mouth the lyrics along with it?

And at least your empty window only taunts you with blankness... mine actually taunts me with error messages until I've actually finished it properly *head desk*

I have managed to not mouth the lyrics to "Stay With Me baby". Now, dancing around my room like a complete and utter twat to "Dancing In The Street" or "All Day And All of The Night," on the other hand...

*bansishes your error messages from whence they came*
