I'm not dead, honest!  I've just been slowly coming out of some long, painful weeks where I've been studying for exams and stressing, sitting exams and stressing and waiting for results.

Yeah it's been completely all about exams for the past few weeks so now it's nice just to calm down and relax for a bit :)

Ok, now you HAVE to watch Firefly, It's absolutely brilliant. And It's like 15 more hours of Mal and Wash that you would get otherwise. (the best part being is after watching it you can pretend that scene in Serenity never happened).

I'm going to head over to Lifein1973 now to catch up, certain litton and sam and Gene love triangles will take first preference though ;)

OMG!!! *glomps* I missed you hon! I was only thinking about you the other day and, like wyvernwolf, was considering dropping you a line to see if everything was okay, but I figured it might be exam-related. Bloody exams.

Also, Firefly is awesome. I love Wash a little too much for it to be considered healthy. (Have you seen Serenity yet? That is probably the main reason it's not healthy to love Wash as much as I do.)

You haven't missed out on much fandom-wise, it's been a little slow for the last month or so. It's been so slow that all I've been doing is blathering about the Triple J Hottest 100 (because yeah, I'm a bit of a music geek). There have been some awesome updates to wyvernwolf's Litton story though.

Finally, I absolutely adore those icons. I think the second one is my favourite, because nothing beats those two staring lovingly into each other's eyes ;) I'm happy to share them around as well, because they are too awesom for just one person to use.

Anyway, that's enough rambling. I'm glad to have you back! *glomps again*

Exams are so shite, really, ridiculously, happy they're over now :)

So glad you're a Firefly fan too! I'm a little late to the party, and the worst part of it was that I actually saw Serenity before I saw the series. It pretty much meant the more I saw of Wash the more I wanted to go back in time and threaten the writers before they made it.

and oooooohhhh Triple J Hottest 100? I thought it was a fairly decent selection of songs but the order was pretty odd. I was really excited to see Last Goodbye and Love Will Tear Us Apart in the top 10, and pretty darn happy to see All Along the Watchtower make the list (double for Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt). That said I thought the lack of female artists was a bit of a let down. Would've loved a Garbage track to make it in :)

I'm starting to worry about my results now, as I haven't gotten mine back yet, but I'm still glad that I don't have to start worrying about them until the end of the next semester.

I only discovered Firefly last year, so you're not the only one who was late to the party. When I did see it, I hadn't seen Serenity yet, but I was spoiled for that little scene so I tried to keep that in mind while watching it so I wouldn't become too attached to Wash. Needless to say, that failed dismally

You have been missed most terribly. So glad to see you're back!!! I don't have much to point you to in the direction of any interest. Suffice to say that next week I will hopefully be seeing(stalking) Mr Simon Pegg at Comicon since he shoud be filming some parts of Paul there.
And damn girl - those icons of Sam and Gene make me wanna have a cigarette myself. I LOVE the idea that it's post-coital:)

Figured it'd be something school-related keeping you away, so fair enough. Sorry you were disappointed with that result, I get what you mean by feeling disappointed when everyone else tells you to just SHUT UP because I was totally that girl in uni and beforehand as well. The good news is that a year or two from now, you totally won't give a shit anymore :D

And I'm glad the fic-of-awesome hasn't been forgotten! Seriously, take your time, it's definitely a long-term project and if it means I get more prozzie-Sam in the meantime... hell yeah, I'll take it!

So good to see you back and hey,congrats on making it through the exams. In the end, unless you're looking at grad school, people rarely look at the marks. I suppose it could prevent the taking of other courses but we won't even go there. You made it through, maybe a little bruised but alive!! Hurray for that.

aw I'm really glad you like them, and now I've finally seen star trek I'm finding you're current icon absolutely brilliant.

I'm also finding McCoy and Spock disturbingly attractive ;) but that's another story...

And no pressure with the fic, seriously, icons are so much easier to make, I feel like I'm ripping people off ;)
