I'm still alive.

Now where's my cake?   (*lame portal reference is lame*)

But yeah *WAVES MADLY* I am still alive I swear, tired, a little less likely to stay up all night on LJ, but still alive.

Final year is a bitch but at least there's good t.v. *shrugs*

Loving the new doctor who to bits (eleven is a-dork-able!)  and  so far so good with the new season of a2a.

*waves madly* Good to see you here again. Best of luck with the final year. That of course has to take priority to lj nights. I caught the new DW and was pleasantly surprised. As much as I thought I would be giving up on it now the Ten is gone, I actually enjoyed it. My biggest disappointment was the Tardis!! What has he done to her?? Lol!

I'm still not a huge A2A fan simply because I don't like what they've done to Gene and that's why I started watching it in the first place. The first episode in this series has him almost one-dimensional in my mind. I will still watch - like being drawn to a train-wreck - as I want to see all the Sam references and am hoping to see more from Gene.

*glomps* thanks :) the luck is v. appreciated.

aw you know what I didn't mind the new tardis... I mean it has a typewriter! *grins*

The first series (up until the last few episodes) was mostly rubbish but the second season wasn't too bad.

This one shows promise (even though I agree Gene's character depth seemed to be all over the place)

Ah well promo for next week looks exciting :)

Yay, welcome back! Very glad you're not dead. *g*

And yes, just in time for juicy telly! I'm strangely enchanted by new DW so far, very keen on Amy and really digging the new look in the TARDIS. And even A2A has been promising so far this series... still a pale imitation of my LoM love but off to an intriguing start and glad to see Ray finally get that promotion. And hell, I was always gonna watch it anyway. :P

hehe thanks :)

I really like Amy, if for nothing else other than the fact she didn't turn around *g* ( pervy-fangirls-represent!)
Plus she's getting married so maybe they'll be no soppy companion love-interest this time :)

A2A is looking v. interesting... I'm both intrigued and kinda worried by the idea the ghost might be Gene and the dynamic between Gene and the v. creepy Jim Keats is interesting too. (Gene doesn't strike me as the type to offer whiskey to a guy who has just declared his hatred of him without a bit of backstory)

And they're teasing us with mentions of Sam again. I swear if this turns out to be another letdown like the gypsy and the "tyler" fiasco. (grrrrr)

the fact she didn't turn around *g* ( pervy-fangirls-represent!)Absolutely for that! But also the fact that even with this childhood investment in her Raggedy Doctor, she wasn't about to just blindly skip along with him without a damn good explanation. Few companions have really had the backbone lately to take in the Doctor's insane schemes and actually take a moment to go "Wait, WTF ( ... )

I know Keats is way too creepy. And it doesn't help he reminds me of a mentally challenged character from the Castle (a very, very aussie movie).

Hmmm and the ghost looked like he was wearing a plod uniform which was what made me think young!Gene.

And I completely agree with the image. It's definitely Sam in 2008, so whether it's that photo because that's the only photo Alex has seen, or whether there's another issue there... I'm curious to say the least.
