Lazy is right. I groaned when I read "Moulin Rouge" in a certain book. Lazy indeed! But some people already know how I feel about a certain book that uses that phrase...

I think it's a bit amusing that the modern hardcore American Republican bears a closer ideological resemblance to the Austrian with the comedy mustache than to a French Republican. I also find it amusing than they have chosen *red* as their color. Conspiracy? Perhaps, but don't question it or the terrorists will win.

I find it more inconvenient than anything else. I never thought I would feel the need to explain myself for being a Republican, but now that the meaning has altered I feel a certain tension in the room when the subject comes up.

I don't suppose we can be too upset with the author of a certain book. After all, from what I've heard he did have three or four whole footnotes to keep track of.

/if I believed in God I'd say 'Thank God for Mssr. Cordier!'
