My latest obsession
Lately I somehow just can't get enough of Stuarda, whether sung by Gruberova, Caballe or Mosuc. I find them all fascinating in their own way.

I was really looking forward to this season's Don Carlo, specially it would be mah hunky tenor Jonas Kaufmann's debut in DC (yeepee!!). And together with Kozlowska's Elisabetta, D'Intino's kickass Eboli and spunky Gazale's Posa, oh yeah, it would be helluva DC performance, even in this horrendous production of Düggelin's (I've seen this production ( Read more... ) -

La Régine passed away in Paris yesterday.
This is a very sad week for opera lovers! First Sills, now Régine. *sigh endlessly* -
