People who live in Michigan talk a lot about the weather. (Yes, I know everyone around the world does also! But maybe Michiganders think about it more?) So it seems to appear in many of my conversations, posts, and daily living stuff. For example: it has been heavenly lately. Nice temps in the mid-50's and even lower 60's. I can take walks ( Read more... )

I love love love love LOVE my sienna minivan.

Love it.

The secretary at school emailed us all the emergency school closing 'phone tree" today. I figure that means the snow day's not gonna happen anytime soon, since we're all at the ready with our speed dial. heh heh. It sure sounds nasty though, reading the weather forecast.

By the way, did I ever tell you I love my Sienna?

:-D

I just saw the forecast too... we have been so spoiled it's going to be really hard to take that kind of change!

We love our Jeep Grand Cherokee in bad weather! You can change the drive on it to handle various conditions.

My kids rented a Jeep Cherokee on a trip out west and loved it. I haven't test driven one of those.

I´ll vouch for Lynda´s Toyota being a great car, roomy and comfy. We would have had a Toyota if they had had their act together here in Spain but their distribution chain really fails in this country. That, of course, does not detract from the reliability of the vehicle.

Anyway, maybe you better put up an extra large stocking just in case.

And I wish I had MI weather just for a while. I am seriouosly bummed about the warm temps I´ll see in Germany. No snow, not even a flurry and most likely yucky rain.
:(

All the Toyota car styles are supposed to be good ones. I am almost, but not quite, ready for a smaller type car. We still do hauling of "stuff", so I think I still need a little bigger style, even if the gas is more expensive for those!
