Here is a post that I don't think I have written about before. (Excuse me if I have already done so.) It regards quilting and The Lost Boys of Sudan. It all started really with the meeting of my friend who lives in Africa. We met on the Delta Queen trip I took several years ago, and she has been sending me little scraps of fabric from the floor

Movie: God Grew Tired of Us, a film based on the experiences of Dau and other lost boys, opens in theaters in the U.S. starting January 12.

Book: John Dau's own account of his life, published by National Geographic Books under the same title, God Grew Tired of Us, is available in bookstores in January.

When you mentioned the Lost Boys, I thought it must be an old article that I'd forgotten...but no...it's a new one. I bet Gianni offed with it and it's in his own personal Black Hole. *Going to investigate*

Got your reply and have added the info to a new post. Thanks! Maybe because of having boy children and grandchildrenk, this particular story always has touched me deeply. And then to have circumstances play a part in connecting me with it is amazing.
