Kudos to you for keeping your sense of humor about it all - I know a lot of people who would have had an attack of mechanic-rage in a similar situation! (It's like road rage, but you don't have to be driving....)

Just to let you know...I don't blame anybody. It was just a series of unfortunate events. The car has about 75,000 miles on it and this was the first time I had any work done on it other than regular maintenance. I love my Corolla. I just wish it hadn't taken 3 weeks to get it inspected!
