*hugs* I'm really, really sorry to hear about your grandfather. Your family is in my thoughts. And don't beat yourself up about the wedding thing. You had no way of knowing this would happen, and you deserve to have your wedding when you want it.

Thank you. We just got back from the funeral, and I'm completely drained.

My family and I did talk about the wedding a bit this weekend, so I've decided I'm happy the wedding is still to come. It made saying goodbye easier and will be a release after all the stress we've been under lately.

sorry to hear about your grandfather. i know how that feels. i lost my grandpa when i was 11. and it hurts.

Thank you. He's been very ill for some time, so it was no major surprise, though I certainly wasn't expecting it to happen anytime soon.

You're welcome. My grandfather was the same. His cancer was already in its final stages. The only thing that really got to me, was the fact that he didn't even make it to see the New Millenium. He passed away day after christmas.

Thank you. He's been ill for some time, so it wasn't a complete surprise. Doesn't make it much easier, but at least he's not in pain anymore.
