I know exactly what you mean by dating someone that acts like a 12 year old boy. My ex simply couldn't grow up. She said, it makes her happy and thats just the way she is. Every problem we ever had, she'd just stomp her feet and cry (sometimes literally). She was obsessed with making pokemon noises and spent most of her socialization online. Anyway enough complaining from me.

Isn't dating a 12 year old adult tiring?

I don't really hate NYC....it just kinda sucks that most of my life (family/friends, etc.) is back home in Chicago while I'm out here....but oh well. I've got two more years out here for school, so I better get to liking NYC again real fast!

a) mailed you back. Sorry I'm a distracted mess!

b) I refuse to date anyone that isn't educated. It may sound elitist, but I have no choice. If I don't surround myself with people I can hold a conversation with, I end up getting bored and frustrated. If I dated someone like that (and I have, numerous times) it would last only until their talent failed to impress me and we were forced to fall back on unfulfilling conversation, and one-sided debate. Boo.

c) Seriously, you will like New York. It's not Chicago, but there are definitely things to do, I promise!!
