I'm meeting with Rep. Dingell's local legislative aide tomorrow about ENDA. My wife and two other people will be there with me. I'm going to ask him for Dingell to take some leadership on this bill, not just say he supports it. That's not enough any more. OK, so it didn't post correctly, but it says that I'm green.

This proves what we already know--that I'm eco-conscious, have a nature-based spirituality and am very connected to the seasons.

It turns out the school made a mistake. We still have health insurance! Through August, which gives us time to apply for insurance through my work. That process starts in July.
Lexi's fellowship money has nonetheless dried up so she'll have to look for a part-time job in the fall, but at least that stress will be later.

Lexi's fellowship money ran out which means we are now living on one income and no health insurance for either of us. I will apply to get us on my office's health insurance but we have to wait until July for open enrollment and I'm not sure if they'll cover Lexi ( Read more... )
