A Query

Hello everyone :)  I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas, or if you don't celebrate Christmas, the winter holiday of your preference.  Mine was just fine.  The day after though, we here in NY got socked with a snow storm.  So, ya know, that was fun.  I'm not sure what the final snowfall tally was, but I'd say its north of 2 feet.  Luckily, we ( Read more... )

Somehow, I thought you would be. I'm hoping to see if we have a bit more interest before I start on my manifesto to kick this off.

I decided that before I do my review, I'm going to try to do a quick rewatch. With the generous help of my FF button.

And *GASP*, you and I in agreement on the grade. I'm shocked I tell ya, Shocked! ;)

I totally understand. I have a lot of those same feelings myself, which is just so frustrating, since this is the final season, and I wanted to go out with a bang, not a whimper.

And like you, I am so ready for Tom to move on. And so afraid of what that might mean.

Hi -- now that Tom has become a big exec-producer and a director, I keep hoping he'll be willing to be Supes on the big screen in the upcoming redo. I understand all these years he didn't want to be typecast and limited, but really he has nothing to be hung up about since he's succeeded so well behind the scenes.

Tom would be an awesome big screen Superman. Unfortunately, even if he was interested, I'd doubt they'd give him the part. My guess is that the new director, and producers, want to create their own Superman, and with Tom, they'd be bringing all the baggage from SV.

But its such a shame, because he would be amazing.

I'm very interested in reading your analysis. Although, I don't have that much to say myself, as I'm watching on and off. Someone on K-site said jokingly that of course the show isn't about Clark, since they don't have anything to do with him anymore and I kind of agree with that. Hence my lack of interest. Looking at the spoilers, it looks like in the writers' mind, the only thing left to do with him is slap a suit on him and let him fly. Which I hope will happen, because it's pretty much the only thing I look forward to at this point.

I know what you mean. Sometimes, its so hard to put the frustration into words. I think, for me, the biggest thing is just how the show makes you feel. And I don't feel like its about Clark in the way I would like.

If I do go ahead with this, I sure hope you'll chime in with your thoughts. I wish so many on my flist weren't so apathetic. :(

Maybe if you post it, they will come?
But I think the general apathy among Clark fans in particular is very telling about the state of the show at this moment.

Sadly, I agree. But I'll also chalk some of it up to the time of year.

I'm not sure it counts if you haven't seen all the eps, LOL!!

Thats OK though, you can just comment on what you've seen. ;)
