Smallville related fun

Hey folks, its been a while :)

As I said when I posted my Smallville finale review, I had intended to do a series of follow-up posts regarding Smallville.  One that would address S10 overall, and how the Finale resolved what the season brought up.  However, I can't seem to get that one off the ground.  I stated to write something up last night, and ( Read more... )

Hey Pep! How the heck are you? Its been forever.

I like all the Clana scenes you mentioned. Its really strange, but the further we get away from those Clana scenes, in those seasons, the more I can appreciate them. The kiss is Legacy is really a good kiss too. Tom and Kristin did good kissing scenes.

Blank is a great episode for Chlark. And the fight in Lineage is exceptionally well acted. It feels like a real fight between teenagers.

I can't believe I still can't decide on a Clex scene.

Ah, you see, this is why I adore you. I just love the way you describe these scenes. All the Clana ones? I'm totally with you.

And I almost used that Chlark scene from Vengeance as my favorite. I think I'd consider that my runner-up.

I think the reason the Hex Chlark scene was so nice was because its was a nice comfortable scene in a season where they started to go off the rails. I watched Eternal the other night, and I'd really forgotten just how brittle and hostile Chlark had gotten in S8. Its sort of the beginning of the slide that they never recovered from.

The Facade scene was a great scene. So much happy and smiling.

I almost used the elevator scene from Instinct. Lois cracks me up there. She's so startled and jealous and confused and flummoxed. Erica did a great job with it. And Clark is just...speechless. Its funny, but at the same time, its very telling. I happen to think Instinct is a very underrated episode.

Its nice to see the scenes in Siren, Apocalypse and Arctic where Clois were able to be there for each other in tough times. It creates a nice foundation for their romance.

Clark & Lois. What I always loved about them in general is that with Lois, you always saw a lighter side of Clark. He got to tease & be sarcastic and he had a friend who didn't know his secret. She just thought he was a regular dorky farmboy.

When I first thought of "Clois," the episode that came to mind was Committed. I love all of the banter and the cuteness, but I don't think I can narrow it down to just one scene.

Committed is a good ep for Clois overall. I love the morning after scene, where Lois wakes up hungover, because I so adore the way Tom delivers the line "you got dressed in the kitchen, by yourself, for, like, an hour".

I can't really think of a scene of them I don't like in that episode.

Great choices. Love all three.

The Clana scene is awesome. This was such a fun moment between them. I picked a different scene from the same episode but another favorite scene of mine is the one from the episode exodus. Clark and Lana under the tree, kissing.*sighs*

That was a sweet scene. It was really the first time that Clana were allowed to just act like a couple in love. And I love how Lana is snuggled all up in Clark's giant arms. One thing I've noticed when I watch older episodes is how comfortable, physically, Tom and Kristin were with each other. They never appeared awkward. And your scene is a good example of that.
