Continuing on with Fun Smallville stuff

Well, round 1 was fun, and thanks to everyone who participated. And its never too late to add. In fact, I've finally narrowed down my favorite Clex scene, and I'm going to add it here.

So, lets expand the game.

What are your favorite scene/s between Clark and the following people....Jonathan Kent, Martha Kent, Lionel Luthor and Pete Ross.

Nemesis is SUCH a sexy episode for them: the light at the end of the Clexana tunnel. Of course, Clark will rescue Lex but it's equally inevitable that Lex will rescue Clark (even though he knows Lana will leave him for Clark) because Clark is ultimately more important than Lana to him. I also love how Lex is still using present-tense for their friendship:

Lex: "You're the only real friend I've ever had, Clark.

Also loved Clark talking things over with his mother later and this quote from Martha:

Martha: "I know you two went through a lot but so much has happened. Sometimes, as hard as it is, you have to let go."

Which makes it sound like they're a couple!

It's also just sexy to watch Michael & Tom running through tunnels, clutching each other!

Really, aside from some quibbles with logic in Nemesis (and isn't that every SV episode?), I pretty much enjoy this episode front to back. KK gives a really strong performance. And Michael and Tom were on fire!

And the idea of Clex being trapped together, and forced to work together, was long on my wish list. Its so rare for SV to actually deliver a plot I had hoped for.

Thats OK. I'm not going anywhere, and there's no time limit. Believe me, I understand how life can get in the way. My own life has been veering wildly between crazy busy, and bored out of my mind.

Absolutely. And 'Nemesis' is an ep that strongly resonates, period. Even today. I loved it then, and somehow manage to fall in love with it all over again, no matter how many times I watch it.

Nemesis would probably fall into my top 10 Smallville eps ever. As you said, it just resonates with me. And it comes in such a crappy season too.

Wow, I love the way you describe stuff. I'm just going to pick scenes, and let you describe them for me, OK?

Everything you picked, I totally agree with. All of them occured to me, except maybe for Fracture. Although, now that you mention it...

That first Clex scene in Descent is genius. I really believe that. So much is conveyed between 2 characters that don't say a word to each other.

The Phoenix hug will always be amazing. What a big, joyous bear hug.

To me Whitney would be easier than Pete.
