I keep hearing how awesome The Walking Dead is, and it's my husband's favorite show, but I can't bring myself to watch it. I can't get past the gross visuals and the gore. I can't watch horror movies either, or anything with a lot of graphic violence. Although thanks to Supernatural and Bones, I'm a little better than I used to be ( ... )

I won't even front, The Walking Dead is brutally gross. So, if thats something that really bothers you, I wouldn't recommend this show. Last nights show was very icky.

Homeland really sucks you in, and its strange, because usually I need a character that I really like to get into a show, and I don't really feel that connection to anyone on the show. Carrie works my last damned nerve, even though I know she's right. Damian Lewis really needs to get nominate for an Emmy with what he's doing. Amazing work!

Scabby Abby!!! Thats where I remembered her from. She looked so familiar, and I couldn't place it.

I wouldn't get too attached to Prime Suspect. I don't see that one making it much longer. But PoI seems to be doing very well.

Yay! Another one of my flisties likes Revenge. I'm so happy to hear it. And another one for Team Jack! I made the mistake of looking around the net to see if there were any Revenge forums, and I found a few, but didn't stay long. Already there's the shipper crap starting, and I have no use for that. Besides, I don't want to read bad stuff about my Jack. He's so adorable ( ... )

Revenge is the only new show that I watch regularly every week. And yeah, I thought the exact same thing about that eternal dog. I’m not really into Jack *ducks tomatoes* and hence, I'm not into Team Jack or any team! I have nothing against him of course, but I find him blah. Jack and Emily’s story seems too obvious to me. And I can’t see what they might have in common besides a few moments they shared in the past. And Madeleine Stowe: isn’t she stunning?! I hope they will develop Nolan’s character more. I find him intriguing but I was disappointed that he chickened out last week. Although I don’t know how he escaped the police in Lydia’s appartment the week before. I don’t get Emily’s attitude with him. He could be very dangerous if he turns against her. And ugh. I hate Tyler. What a monster. But that actor really sells his character ( ... )

*GASP* You don't love Jack? Take it back!!

LOL, its OK. I guess the Emily/Jack stuff is a little obvious. But I think its something of a touchstone, or contrast, to everything else thats going on. Here's something thats based on innocence, and its sort of the only thing like it that Amanda, now Emily, has in her life. This old connection to a childhood friend. Do they have anything in common now? No, not really, but I guess thats one of the things I like. Jack is probably the only possible person in her life that could steer her away from her vengeful path. But do we want him to? I don't know, because the revenge is sort of delicious. But is it also destroying whats left of Amanda Clarke's soul?

See, I'm already thinking about this show too much.

I watched the last SPN ep at the gym tonight. It was good, I liked it.

If you watch Homeland, let me know what you think.

I'm liking what Ginnifer Goodwin is doing with the Snow White character too.

But, I think I've decided my favorite character is the Sheriff, and I'm dying to know what fairy tale character he turns out to be.

Having said that, I like the show, but don't love it so much.

I don't even try to like the teenagers on Revenge. I just resent that they take up airtime that could be better spent on...anything.

I'm really annoyed with SPN after this weeks episode. I think Dean just got a Chloe-sized hand wave of absolution, and I think Sam just got Clark-ified.

I watched the 2nd Grimm, but I don't know, I don't think it was very good. And the lead is blander then OUAT's Prince Charming (LOL, sorry!). He's not even hot. How does one get the lead in a TV show if you aren't a charismatic actor, OR kind of hot?

I think you've summed up Homeland quite well. I don't hate Carrie either, but like her? No, not even a little. Her intentions are noble, but her methods are whack.

Maybe you're right, and they haven't closed the door on the Dean/Amy thing, but it sure seemed like it to me. And I also didn't appreciate Dean flinging the hell thing in Sam's face, considering that he's doing pretty amazing considering what happened to him. Dean just isn't high on my hit parade right now.

But, you're right, he's better then Chloe ;)
