I always find my best writing comes from those vulnerable places. Then I have to decide if I'm willing to share!

I'm with you, Dori! Sometimes sharing is not the point. But you have to get it down before you can decide.

But as creative writers, we want to connect more than instruct, and we may do that most when writing from places we don’t necessarily show when we’re wearing good clothes and loud shoes.
Oh, how I love that line! That is exactly why I signed up...and what I hope for.
