Daffodils, magnolias, and cherry trees were blooming in Amherst as I walked to the Institute for Holocaust, Genocide, and Memory Studies. Anita Lobel wrote a memoir of the Holocaust for 9-12 year olds, No Pretty Pictures. It is intense.
