Xander and Angel sat side by side on the couch watching the clock.  The numbers on the bright green face slipped by much faster than Xander would have liked-faster than Angel would have liked, too, he suspected, as the vampire grew progressively more still and tense as time passed.

Xander fidgeted nervously when the clock switched to five-forty

Now this is an interesting twist...Xander not only has dream visions, but wake visions. Incredibly interesting little bit with Dru, but now I'm trying to figure out what's going to happen. Angelus turns Xander, or Xander saves Angel from losing his soul or Spike falls in love with Xander or gah! This is crazed...but in such a good way! I love it when I can't figure it out. As always, a magnificent chapter and I can't wait for more :)

I am the queen of insanity. All bow to me and my no. 2 pencil. *glee* I wouldn't try to guess at things quite so early. You'll give yourself pain in the head. I'm glad you like it, though! I can tell you for sure: Xander will stay human, it IS a Spander story, and while I do have plans for Angelus, he's less 'crazy bastard' Angelus than 'pre-soul and relatively sane' Angelus.

I love Dru. She is just wonderfully crazy...in a sane kinda way.

I can't wait for Spike and Dru to get to Sunnydale. Should be fun.

I liked this from Angel: "Angel added under his breath so that only Xander could hear, “And get drunk, and pick fights, and turn animals, and cheat at cards, and brew tea with holy water, and read my books in the bathtub.”

Just like a father expecting a visit from his wayward children. LOL

Heh...poor Angel. His rebellious children drive him batty. :) Thanks! Dru has always been one of my favorite characters...and she's so fun to write!
