this weekend my friend (who is 1st generation chinese) married her long time boyfriend in a traditional chinese ceremony. well, traditional is a relative word depending what part of china you are from, but this was a 'tea ceremony' which is pretty old skool. i was the carrier of the tea

yah, i forgot you guys met! that was *ages* ago! she is doing really well, getting her phd in public health at johns hopkins. and still flying high from the awesome wedding and all the fun we all had : )
