You know, it could be worse... you could have been asked to be a brides maid or something, then you'd have had to actually buy the dress.

It is worse. Diane is a bridesmaid and had to buy the ugly yellow dress. This was on top of last year when her sister was engaged to someone else. Needless to say that wedding was called off, but not until after she put down $120 un-refundable deposit on THAT bridesmaid's dress.
