Okie, after much serious contimplation and thinking and stuff... and looking at my checkbook and bills and stuff.... I decided to get a digital SLR. The fact that I got it mega cheap didn't hurt either. My advice? Take a class. If you can't take a class, go out to your local book store and pick up Digital SLR's for Dummies or something.

That way you will have a reference that you can carry around for when things get confusing.

You know when I have been able to make it to work I've been taking online Canon training courses (so I can hopefully win an SLR).

So far I would say for accessories to get one of the LCD screens with subtle grids on them, and if you really want to geek out, they have WIRELESS TRANSMITTERS that will transmit photos from your camera to your computer.

I can tell you more as I take more trainings. :)
