This is riveting -- beautiful job of conveying Jensen's perceived powerlessness. I just read a pretty infuriating customer-service story about a service dog not being allowed into a restaurant, and then to find this story with newly blind Jensen's anger and fear -- it really brings it home, the need for independence. Is there more to this? A series? I'm going to check out your LJ now. *grin* Thank you for this!
