I've had a lot less anxiety about the changes in my life after taking it easy yesterday. I ate at my usual spot, and the bartender tried out her valentini on me. I'm not the most patient person. The seller hasn't counter-offered yet, and they have until noon to do so. I'm not sure what happens after that, but it probably won't be good.

I was interested in three houses. Two of them sold from under me, and the third needs 15k in sewer work. Back to searching.

I just got back from meeting my real estate agent and looking at some houses. He's got a pretty good head on his shoulders and isn't too much older than I am. From his example I've revised my own life plan to include owning and improving houses and eventually toward the goal of selling and buying rental properties.
