Room 216 --Friday early afternoon

After checking in (and giving up his light saber to what he trust was safe keeping) Qui-Gon headed up to find his room and see if he could meet his new roommate.

He hadn't brought much with him though so he didn't unpack as he would be taking it all down to the cabins with him in a little bit.

Sabriel was hauling her suitcase and boxes up the stairs and down the corridor, glad she didn't have to go further up. "Um, is this 219?" she asked, poking her head into the room.

"That's a little further down the hallway, I believe," Qui-Gon said politely. "You're just arriving here as well I take it?"

"Thank you," Sabriel nodded politely back, shifting her hold on her boxes and preparing to go looking again. "Yes, I am. My name is Sabriel." She tried to shift her luggage aside so she could offer her hand, but gave up. "It's nice to meet you."

"Qui-Gon Jinn," he replied, giving her a polite bow. "And you as well."

Zero had just woken up, which meant she'd missed out on a whole morning of terrorizing the new kids. Well. Time to start catching up. "Hi, there! I'm Zero, I live two rooms down. Or, I do until I pack out to the cabins."

Her only regret was that she wasn't a kitten. That really got 'em.

"Qui-Gon Jinn," Qui-Gon said, with a polite bow. "You've been here a while then?"

"..." said Zero. She wondered if Jaye was still in town. She managed to not make a quick-draw for her cell phone, and finally said, "Yeh, about two years. Well. I just graduated."

Qui-Gon noticed her reaction, but figured it would be rude to ask about it, so filed it away to see if he couldn't find something out through just observation. "So you're going to be leaving soon?" he asked instead.

There's a lot of grunting noises out in the hallway right before what appears to be a walking drum kit enters the room.

The drums then make a loud noise as the hit the floor revealing a shaggy looking creature.

"DRUMS! BOOM! HAH! HAH! HAH!"

Qui-Gon was used to dealing with non-human creatures so his only pause was to search the few words said for other meaning. "Indeed they are," he agreed. "A quite impressive set of drums."

"THANK YOU!" came the ragged voice.

The creature began to sniff around the room as if he were inspecting the surroundings.

Qui-Gon watched him for a moment. "Do you need any help with your things?" he asked.
